Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, requiring a versatile individual capable of handling both strategic and tactical HR functions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Employee Relations: Acting as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring prompt and effective resolution in line with Dior's values and legal compliance. This includes conducting thorough investigations, mediating disputes, and implementing corrective actions. Experience managing complex employee relations issues within a unionized or non-unionized environment is highly desirable.
* Talent Acquisition and Management: Collaborating with hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, attracting and retaining top talent within the luxury retail sector. This involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers. Furthermore, the role will oversee employee onboarding, training, and development initiatives, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience. Developing and implementing performance management systems, conducting performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for employee growth are also key responsibilities.
* Compensation and Benefits: Managing and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This includes staying abreast of current market trends and best practices to maintain a competitive compensation and benefits package that attracts and retains talent. The role will also involve working closely with payroll and benefits administration to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments and benefits.
* HR Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place. This includes managing HR systems, maintaining accurate employee records, and preparing reports and analyses as required. The role requires a strong understanding of HR information systems (HRIS) and the ability to leverage technology to streamline HR processes.
* Compliance and Legal: Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and workplace safety. This involves developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a compliant work environment. Staying abreast of changes in employment law and advising management on legal compliance is crucial.
* Strategic HR Planning: Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of the House of Dior. This includes participating in strategic planning sessions, conducting workforce analysis, and developing recommendations for improving HR processes and practices. The role requires a proactive and strategic approach to anticipating future HR needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.
